Benefits of the Hadith: (… from Jabir ibn 'Abd Allah that 'Abd Allah died and left behind nine daughters, or he said seven, so he married a woman who had been married before, and the Messenger of Allah said to me:

The Shaykh : In this context, there is an addition to what was mentioned before, which is that it explains the reason for marrying a woman who had been married before: that his father (may Allah be pleased with him) left behind nine daughters, or seven daughters. In his statement "nine daughters, or seven," he did not say "or seven" with the accusative case (mansub), but rather "or seven" with the nominative case (marfu'), which is based on the assumption of the omitted modifier (mudaf ilayh), meaning "or seven daughters," because sometimes the modifier is omitted while the modified noun (mudaf) remains as if it had not been omitted. In this hadith, there is also a prayer for the newlywed for blessings, as indicated by the saying of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): "May Allah bless you," in the wording of the hadith mentioned before. In the previous wording, it was "a virgin?" (abkaran), and here in the first wording, it is "a virgin?" (abkaran) with the nominative case. The grammatical analysis is easy in both cases: "abkaran" means "did you marry a virgin," while "abkaran" (nominative) means "is she a virgin?" Yes.
