Is al-Muhsin among the names of Allah?

The questioner : Al-Muhsin...

The Shaykh : People are named 'Abd al-Muhsin, and it came in the hadith:

Verily Allah has enjoined goodness to everything; so when you kill, kill in a good way

إن الله محسن كتب الإحسان على كل شيء فإذا قتلتم فأحسنوا القتلة

.

The questioner : Is it specific to Allah?

The Shaykh : Absolute ihsan (excellence in worship) has nothing in it.
