Explanation of the Book of Tawhid-07a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Reciter: 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah narrated to us, saying: Malik narrated to me from Sa'id ibn Sa'id al-Maqburi from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), who said:
When anyone of you goes to bed, he should dust it off thrice with the edge of his garment, and say: Bismika Rabbi Wada`tu janbi, wa bika arfa'hu. In amsakta nafsi faghfir laha, wa in arsaltaha fahfazha bima tahfaz bihi 'ibadaka-s-salihin.
Sahih al-Bukhari 7393
Yahya and Bishr ibn al-Mufaddal followed him, narrating from 'Ubayd Allah from Sa'id from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And Ibn 'Ajlan narrated it from Sa'id from Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Muhammad ibn 'Abd al-Rahman, al-Darwardi, and Usamah ibn Hafsa followed him, saying: Muslim narrated to us, saying: Shu'bah narrated to us from 'Abd al-Malik from Rubayyi'.

The Shaykh : This does not harm, I mean the fact that one of the men in the chain is omitted; it does not harm because it is possible that the narrator narrated it from his shaykh or from his shaykh's shaykh, so this is not from the category of additions in connected chains. A person may narrate from Zayd, who is his shaykh, and Zayd narrates from 'Amr, then the first one comes and narrates from 'Amr directly. This is a reality. And on this basis, there is no criticism in the chain, and it is not from the category of additions in connected chains. His statement:
Let him shake it with the hem of his garment فلينفضه بصنفة ثوبه
