The Book of Faith-02a

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: And Salama ibn Shubayb narrated to me, saying: Al-Humaydi narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, saying: "I heard a man ask Jabir about the saying of the Mighty and Majestic:
So I will never leave [this] land until my father permits me or Allah decides for me, and He is the best of judges. فلن أبرح الأرض حتّى يأذن لي أبي أو يحكم الله لي وهو خير الحاكمين
[Yusuf 12:80]
, so Jabir said: The interpretation of this has not come. Sufyan said: And they lied. We said to Sufyan: What did he mean by this? He said: The Rafidah say that Ali is in the clouds, so we will not go out with anyone who goes out from his descendants until a caller calls from the sky, meaning Ali, that he calls out: "Go out with so-and-so." Jabir says: This is the interpretation of this verse, and they lied. It was about the brothers of Yusuf (peace be upon him)."

The Shaykh : This is from the trial and distortion: "So I will not leave the land until my father permits me or Allah judges for me, and He is the best of judges." He says: The interpretation of this verse has not come, meaning the news that this verse indicates has not come. Sufyan clarified this, saying: The Rafidah say that Ali is in the clouds, so one should not go out with anyone who goes out from his descendants until a caller calls from the sky: "Go out with so-and-so," meaning Ali ibn Abi Talib. They wait for whoever goes out with his sons, and if it is not said to go out with him, they will not go out with him.
