The reciter: And Salama ibn Shubayb narrated to me, saying: Al-Humaydi narrated to us, saying: Sufyan narrated to us, saying: "The people used to transmit from Jabir before he revealed what he revealed. When he revealed what he revealed, the people suspected him regarding his narrations, and some of the people abandoned him. It was said to him: What did you reveal? He said: Belief in the return (al-raj'ah)".
