The reader: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Muslim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:
Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah and Abu Kuraib narrated to us, and the wording is that of Abu Kuraib, and they said: Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us from al-A'mash from Abu Sufyan from Jabir, who said:
Al-Nu'man ibn Ququl came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, what do you say if I pray the obligatory prayers, forbid what is forbidden, and permit what is permissible, will I enter Paradise? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Yes. أتى النّبيّ صلى الله عليه وسلم النّعمان بن قوقلٍ ، فقال : يا رسول الله أرأيت إذا صلّيت المكتوبة ، وحرّمت الحرام ، وأحللت الحلال ، أأدخل الجنّة ؟ فقال النّبيّ صلى الله عليه وسلم : نعم
