The reciter: Yahya ibn Yahya al-Tamimi and 'Uthman ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, both from Jarir. Yahya said: Jarir informed us, from al-A'mash, from Abu Sufyan, who said: I heard Jabir say: I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say:

Verily between man and between polytheism and unbelief is the negligence of prayer.

إن بين الرجل وبين الشرك والكفر ترك الصلاة
