The reciter: And Muhammad ibn al-Muthanna and Ibn Bashshar narrated to us. Ibn al-Muthanna said: Muhammad ibn Ja'far narrated to us, and Shu'bah narrated to us from Wasil al-Ahdab from al-Ma'arrur ibn Suwayd, who said: I heard Abu Dharr narrating from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) that he said:

Gabriel came to me and gave me the tidings: Verily he who died amongst your Ummah without associating anything with Allah would enter Paradise. I (the narrator) said: Even if he committed adultery and theft. He (the Holy Prophet) said: (Yes), even if he committed adultery and theft.
