Some people held that Allah the Exalted said in this qudsi hadith: "I came to Him running."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :Some people held that Allah the Exalted’s saying in this qudsi hadith:
I came to Him running أتيته هرولة
means the speed with which Allah Mighty and Majestic accepts and turns toward His servant who draws near to Him, directing his heart and limbs toward Him, and that Allah’s reward for the one who works for Him is greater than the work of the worker.
He explained the reasoning behind his position by stating that Allah the Exalted said:
And whoever came to Me walking ومن أتاني يمشي
It is well known that one who draws near to Allah Mighty and Majestic, seeking to reach Him, does not draw near and seek to reach Him except to Allah the Exalted. "
