What is the guideline for a student of knowledge when mentioning legal issues to the common people: should he mention the scholarly disagreement in them, or should he limit himself to one opinion?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, what is the guideline when presenting legal issues to the common people: should he mention the disagreement among the scholars, or should he limit himself to one opinion?

The Shaykh : What we see is that if he presents it to the common people, and the second opinion is the weaker one in his view, if it is widespread and well-known, then let him refer to it. And if it is not well-known, then he should not refer to it, because these people cannot bear the disagreement.
As for if it is famous and well-known among the people, then he must mention it and say, "This opinion is the stronger one, and some scholars hold that the matter is not so," so that he may be on clear knowledge. This is because the common person might think that the one who spoke with what he considers the stronger opinion in his view does not know about the disagreement. Yes, Salim, although Muhammad says the time has ended.
