Some well-wishers publish papers that may contain weak or fabricated hadiths, and they may mention some independent legal reasoning for which there is no evidence

The questioner : Some well-wishers publish papers that may contain weak or fabricated hadiths, and they may mention some independent legal reasoning for which there is no evidence. Is there any guidance for these people?

The Shaykh : Yes, the guidance for these people is that I remind them of a verse from the Book of Allah, which is the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
And do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart - about all those [one] will be questioned.
[Al-Isra 17:36]
These people have no knowledge of what they are publishing; rather, it is sometimes dreams, sometimes fabricated hadiths falsely attributed to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and sometimes innovated dhikr for which Allah has sent down no authority. However, the common people accept everything, especially if it contains encouragement and warning. It is obligatory for anyone who wants to publish something to first ask the scholars, who are the people of knowledge, what they think of this, and then what they think of publishing it? If they say, "This is authentic," and give permission for its publication, then he publishes it. And if there are responsible authorities for distributing these pamphlets, they should not distribute them until they contact the responsible authority, so that matters do not become chaos where everyone publishes whatever they please. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you. This questioner, the honorable Shaykh, the questioner Muhammad, is from al-Qassim.
