What is the meaning of the hadith (the length of a spear)?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original

The questioner : How is the length of a spear determined?

The Shaykh : Do you know a spear or not? How long is it? How long is it? A meter by the naked eye, or is it this meter that we see with our eyes? It may be thousands of miles in reality, but by the naked eye, let us proceed to Friday prayer.
