Continuation of the benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: “Say: You will not be asked about what we committed, nor will we be asked about what you do”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
To the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). Yes.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is that a person is not asked about the deeds of others, nor does he ask others about their deeds, based on His saying:
Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do."
[Saba: 25]. Similar to this is the saying of the Exalted:
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative.
[Fatir: 18]. Every person is [responsible for] his own deeds. An exception to this is when the deed of another originates from one’s own action, such as if you are the one who guided him to it or helped him with it; in that case, you share in his weight to the extent of his deed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Whoever introduces a bad practice in Islam, he will bear its sin and the sin of whoever acts according to it until the Day of Resurrection
As-Sunan al-Kubra lil-Nasa'i 12:118
Does this contradict the noble verse that is with us? No, because the reality of the matter is that the burden of the other is built upon your burden, so it becomes a benefit for you and falls within the scope of your reward.
Among the benefits of this noble verse is the affirmation of being questioned about deeds, because His saying:
You will not be asked
means: Who is the one who is asked? The human being. Every person is responsible for his deeds. If questioning were absolutely negated, it would not be valid to say to you:
You will not be asked about what we committed
. And every person is responsible for his deeds, and this is necessary. Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He, said:
And [mention] the Day He will call them and say, "What did you answer the messengers?"
[Al-Qasas: 65]
(6) Then We will surely question those to whom [a message] was sent, and We will surely question the messengers. (7) Then We will surely relate [their deeds] to them with knowledge, and We were not [at all] absent.
[Al-A'raf: 6:7]. As long as a person believes that he will be questioned about his deeds, he will strive with the utmost effort to ensure that his deeds conform to what? To the Shari'ah of Allah.
