Chapter: Of those who said that faith is action, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And that is the Paradise which you shall inherit because of what you used to do.”

The reciter: “Chapter: Of those who said that faith is action, based on the saying of Allah the Exalted:

And that is Paradise which you are made to inherit for what you used to do.

وتلك الجنة التي أورثتموها بما كنتم تعملون

[Az-Zukhruf 43:72]

. And several scholars said regarding the saying of Allah the Exalted:

⁽⁹²⁾ So by your Lord, We will surely question them all ⁽⁹³⁾ About what they used to do.

فوربك لنسئلنهم أجمعين عما كانوا يعملون

[Al-Hijr 15:92-93]

[they will be questioned] about the saying: “There is no god but Allah.” And He said:

For such a thing, let the workers work

لمثل هذا فليعمل العاملون

”.
