(51) A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] (52) Who would say, 'Are you indeed of those who believe قال قائل منهم إني كان لي قرين يقول أإنك لمن المصدقين
[As-Saffat 37:51-52]
to the end of it, meaning that among the things they discuss is what happens to some of them in the form of attempting to turn others away from the path of Allah and to make them disbelieve in Allah.
Said a speaker among them قال قائل منهم
[Yusuf 12:10]
That is, one of the people of Paradise said: "Indeed, I had a companion in the world, because 'kana' is a past tense verb."
