The benefits of the saying of Allah the Exalted: ((And among his followers was Abraham * when he came to his Lord with a sound heart))

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:
And indeed, among his kind was Abraham, وإن من شيعته لإبراهيم
[As-Saffat 37:83]

One of the benefits of this verse is that the original religion of the prophets is one, and they are all followers of one another, supporting their call. The evidence for this is the saying of Allah the Exalted:
And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me."
[Al-Anbiya: 25]
And among the benefits of the noble verse is that the prophets, even if a long time passes between them, only bring revelation from Allah. This is because when time passes, people forget the covenant, and it fades and disappears. But if it is by revelation from Allah, it is renewed according to the renewal of this revelation, for there are long periods between Abraham and Noah.
And among the benefits of the noble verse is the praise of Abraham, in that he was a follower of Noah, calling to the oneness of Allah. And whoever is a follower of one who calls to Allah is, without doubt, a subject of praise.
And among the benefits of the noble verse in His saying
When he came to his Lord with a sound heart إذا جاء ربه بقلب سليم
[As-Saffat 37:84]
And although this attribute is negative, it includes perfection, for when the heart is safe from doubts and desires, it becomes pure for Allah the Exalted in intention, will, and action. So in it is the praise of Abraham for the soundness of his heart.
And among its benefits is the care of Allah the Exalted for Abraham, in that He attributed lordship to Him when he came to his Lord. Is this lordship specific or general? It is specific. And specific lordship entails more care than general lordship, for those encompassed by general lordship are included in general mercy, but those with specific lordship have specific mercy.
