The Benefits of the Verse: “Those are the ones whose deeds have been rendered worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and they have no helpers.”
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
And among the benefits of the verse that follows is that these disbelievers, who disbelieved in the signs of Allah, killed His prophets, and killed those among the people who enjoin justice, their deeds have been rendered worthless in this world and the Hereafter, so they derive no benefit from them. As for the Hereafter, this is evident; and as for this world, it is because they benefit from them, so it is as if they never existed. And among the benefits of the noble verse is that disbelief renders deeds worthless, as He said: [Ali 'Imran 3:22] And indicating this is also His saying, the Exalted: [Al-Baqarah 2:217]. And among the benefits of the noble verse is that these disbelievers have no helper [Ali 'Imran 3:22]. But is the meaning that they have no helper in this world and the Hereafter, or only in the Hereafter? In the Hereafter. As for this world, they may be helped by those who are of their ilk, but they and those who help them will end up in humiliation and abandonment, for Allah the Exalted says: [Al-Mujadila 58:21]. I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Shaytan. [Ali 'Imran 3:26]
