Is it permissible for a student of knowledge to pray in places that the common people believe to be superior?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Is it permissible, according to this opinion, to pray in these mosques?

The Shaykh : We might say it is permissible, and we might say it is not permissible. Because the ruling is based on the apparent reality, as long as this is the appearance for the people and the common folk, if students of knowledge pray in them, the common person will not doubt that they are sanctified. However, if a person wanted to pray in them in secret, it might be said that it is valid. But the possibility mentioned by the Shaykh (may Allah have mercy on him)—that they are names corresponding to the names of those people, and that they were actually buried there—remains a problem. So the best course is to stay away from them. Yes.
