Reading from the author's words, with commentary on them and collation of the manuscripts: "And likewise, the question of some of them to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reader: "And likewise, the question of some of them to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), or to someone else from his Ummah (the Muslim community), for a need that is fulfilled for him, for this has occurred frequently, and it is not what we are discussing.
And you must know that the response of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) or someone else to these questioners is not what indicates the recommendation (mustahabb) of asking, for he is the one who said (peace and blessings be upon him):
One of them asks me a question and I give it to him إن أحدهم ليسألني المسألة فأعطيَه إياها
"
.

The Shaykh : So I give it to him.
The reader: "
One of them asks me a question and I give it to him, and he goes out carrying it as a fire, so they said: O Messenger of Allah, why do you give it to them? He said: They refuse but to ask me, and Allah refuses for me to be stingy إن أحدهم ليسألني المسألة فأعطيه إياها، فيخرج بها يتأبطها نارا، فقالوا : يا رسول الله، فلم تعطيهم؟ قال : يأبون إلا أن يسألوني، ويأبى الله لي البخل
"
.

The Shaykh : May Allah send prayers and peace upon him.
The reader: "And most of these persistent questioners, because of the state they are in, if they were not answered, their faith would be disturbed, just as the questioners of him in life ".

The Shaykh : For him, for him
The reader: Did you hear?

The Shaykh : Just as the questioners of him.
The reader: The questioners of him

The Shaykh : For him, and what is with you?
The reader: With me, of him.

The Shaykh : By which?
The Reciter: Yes.

The Shaykh : No, with me it is: for him with the lam.
The reader: "Just as the questioners of him in life were so, and among them were those who were answered and ordered to leave the city. So this amount, if it occurs, is a karamah (a miracle granted to a righteous person) for the owner of the grave, as for whether it indicates the good state of the questioner, there is no difference between this and that, for the creation were not prohibited from praying at graves and making them mosques out of contempt for their people, but because of what is feared for them of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation), and the fitnah only occurs when its cause is established, so if it were not that what is feared of being led astray by it may occur at graves, people would not have been prohibited from that. And likewise, what is mentioned of karamat (miracles granted to righteous persons) and supernatural occurrences that are found at the graves of the prophets and the righteous, such as: the descent of lights and angels at them, the avoidance of them by Shayatins (Satan) and animals, the repelling of fire from them and from those who neighbor them, the intercession (shafa'ah) of some of them for their neighbors among the dead, the recommendation (mustahabb) of being buried near some of them, the occurrence of comfort and tranquility at them, and the descent of punishment upon whoever disrespects them - the genus of this is true, it is not what we are discussing.
And what is in the graves of the prophets and the righteous of the karamah (miracle granted to a righteous person) of Allah and His mercy, and what they have with Allah of sanctity and honor, is above what most of the creation imagine, but this is not the place to detail that. And all of this does not necessitate the recommendation (mustahabb) of prayer, or the intention of supplication or worship at them "
.

The Shaykh : Or worship.
The reader: "Or worship at them, because of the harms in the intention of worship at them that the Lawgiver has made known, as mentioned before. I mentioned these matters because they are what is imagined to oppose what we have presented, and it is not so " .
