We believe in the lordship of Allah the Exalted, meaning: that He is the Lord, the Creator, the Owner, and the Manager of all affairs.

The Shaykh :"We believe in the lordship of Allah" means this detail: when it is asked how one believes in Allah, we first believe in the lordship of Allah the Exalted, meaning that He is the Lord, the Creator, the Owner, and the Manager of all affairs. This lordship includes three things.
First, creation; Allah the Exalted is the Creator of everything.
Second, ownership; Allah the Exalted is the Owner of everything.
Third, management; all management belongs to Allah. This is lordship. I will repeat it a second time: creation, secondly ownership, and thirdly management. The evidence for this is the saying of Allah Blessed and Exalted is He:
Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command
[Al-A'raf 7:54]
Creation is clear, and the command is management. The evidence for ownership is His saying the Exalted:
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth
[Ali 'Imran 3:189]
So these three matters are the meaning of lordship.
If someone asks, is not a person described with lordship, such that it is said "the master of the animal" or "the master of the house"? And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding lost property:
Leave it. دعها
My intention regarding the lost item is that he said:
Leave that alone, for it has feet and also a leather bag, it drinks water, and eats (the leaves) of the trees
Sahih Muslim 1722e
And in the hadith:
that the female slave gives birth to her master
Sunan ad-Daraqutni 15:114
as in some wordings of al-Bukhari.
The answer is that we say: the lordship attributed to the created is not like the lordship attributed to the Creator. This is just as a person has hearing and Allah has hearing, but the meaning of hearing differs between the Creator and the created; so it is with lordship.
As for ownership, if someone asks, has not Allah affirmed ownership for the created? The answer is yes, as Allah Blessed and Exalted is He said:
[from houses] whose keys you possess
[An-Nur 24:61]
or those their right hands possess
[Al-Mu'minun 23:6]
But it is said that the difference is great. The ownership of Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) is complete and comprehensive; complete and comprehensive means He does in His ownership what He wills, and it is comprehensive for everything other than Allah. The ownership of the human is limited and restricted; he does not own everything. Then his ownership of a thing is not absolute ownership where he does what he wills, but it is restricted by the Shari'ah. Therefore, he is forbidden from wasting wealth, forbidden from corrupting it, and forbidden from some of the forbidden actions that a person may want but cannot do; he is prevented from them. And thirdly, management: does not a person have management? Yes, he manages. But is it like the management of Allah? Never. Allah the Exalted manages the affair in everything, whereas the management of the human is specific to himself or to the ownership he possesses. So, "we believe in the lordship of Allah the Exalted" meaning that He is the Lord, the Creator, the Owner, and the Manager of all affairs. So, the evidence that He is the Owner:
The student: ...

The Shaykh :
And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth
[Ali 'Imran 3:189]
that He is unique in creation and management
Unquestionably, His is the creation and the command
[Al-A'raf 7:54]
