We hold that following this path is an obligatory duty that is indispensable, for what Allah has affirmed of Himself or denied of Himself, Glorified is He, is a report in which Allah has informed us of Himself.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"We hold that following this path is an obligatory duty that is indispensable" This is the ruling on following the methodology of the Salaf. We hold that it is an obligatory duty that is indispensable. One must follow this principle, which is:
A- Affirming what He has affirmed of Himself
B- Denying what Allah has denied of Himself, while believing in the affirmation of its opposite
C- Remaining silent regarding what Allah has remained silent about
"For what Allah has affirmed of Himself or denied of Himself is a report in which Allah has informed us of Himself. He, Glorified is He, is the most knowledgeable of Himself, the most truthful in speech, and the best in narration, and the servants do not encompass Him in knowledge" If this is the case, it is obligatory to entrust the matter to Allah and to believe in His report regarding what He has informed us of.
