The Shaykh : He says: "The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) informed us that...
That the Al-Bayt al-Ma'mur in the sky is entered by — and in another narration, prayed in by — seventy thousand angels every day, and then they do not return to it for the rest of their lives. أن البيت المعمور في السماء يدخله - وفي رواية يصلي فيه - كل يوم سبعون ألف ملك ثم لا يعودون إليه آخر ما عليه
"
. Allahu Akbar! What wonders! Every day, and how many days there are! And how weak we are to count them! Every day, seventy thousand angels enter this Al-Bayt al-Ma'mur and do not return to it. How many angels are there in a week, Samir?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes, seventy thousand every day. And how many days are in a week? Seven. Multiply seven by seventy thousand?
The student: ... .

The Shaykh : Yes? Four hundred and ninety thousand in a week, and how many weeks have passed, and how many are to come, we do not know, but they are many. This indicates the multitude of the angels, and that they are a world in themselves, aware of everything in the world. Indeed, the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The Heavens moan, and they have the right to moan أطت السماء وحق لها أن تئط
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2312
and the groaning is the creaking of a loaded saddle, meaning: for example, a camel has a saddle on its back, and when it is loaded and walks, you hear it creak, you hear a creaking sound
The sky groaned, and it has the right to groan, for there is no place of four fingers' width but that it has an angel standing for Allah, or bowing, or prostrating. السماء أطت، وحق لها أن تئط، ما من موضع أربع أصابع إلا وفيه ملك قائم لله أو راكع أو ساجد
at a place of four fingers' width, while the earth, what Allah willed, has miles upon miles in it with no one bowing or prostrating, but the sky is filled with worshippers who worship Allah (Mighty and Majestic).
Good. So the conclusion of the speech regarding the angels is complete.
