What is your opinion of one who reads about the descriptions of the Houris in a way that arouses his desire, claiming that he is practicing patience?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah reward you. Regarding the description of Paradise, there are some people.

The Shaykh : Regarding the description?

The questioner : The description of Paradise.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : And its bliss.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : There are some people, especially some of the young men, who frequently read about the descriptions of the Houris.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Specifically what Imam Ibn al-Qayyim mentioned in his *Nuniyyah* and the details that may arouse their desire. However, when they are advised, they say, "We are practicing patience with this." Is there any validity to this, or should they be advised to stay away from this?

The Shaykh : By Allah, my brother, I do not see this. Why do they not also mention the Fire and its threat? People today are in greater need of mentioning the threat than they are of mentioning the promise. Why? Because most people have been seduced by this world, so they need a brake. People are not currently moving forward, so that we would mention things that encourage them to advance. People are currently moving away, except for whom Allah wills. Therefore, we see that if a person wants to prioritize one side over the other, the encouragement or the warning, we see that in the present time, one should prioritize what? The warning. Although I do not agree with this, I say that if it is absolutely necessary, and what should be followed is the method of the Qur'an: encouragement and what? And warning. As for mentioning what Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in describing the eye and likening what he likened, and he said:
"And when I descended, I saw a tremendous matter".
This means it should not be said, especially to the young men. Yes. Yes.
