And the divine decree has four levels: The first level: Knowledge

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says: "And the divine decree has four levels: The first level: Knowledge", meaning the level of Allah's knowledge. "So we believe that Allah the Exalted is All-Knowing of everything, knowing what was, what will be, and how it will be, in His eternal, everlasting knowledge". His eternal knowledge means that it is not a created thing that is eternal. Everlasting means that it is not something that ends. The knowledge of anyone other than Allah, what is it? It is neither everlasting nor eternal, because ignorance precedes it and forgetfulness overtakes it. All of us, Allah brought us out of our mothers' wombs, what was the state? We knew nothing. Even a child does not know his mother except after a period of time. We knew nothing. Then Allah gave us hearing, sight, and hearts. So by hearing and sight we perceive information, and by hearts we understand it. Now, do we forget? Yes, forgetfulness returns to us. But the Lord, Mighty and Majestic, His knowledge is eternal, meaning it is not a created thing, and everlasting, meaning it is not something that vanishes. Good.
We believe that Allah the Exalted is All-Knowing of everything with His eternal, everlasting knowledge. "So no new knowledge comes to Him after ignorance, and no forgetfulness overtakes Him after knowledge". Musa (peace be upon him) said when Pharaoh asked him:
what is the case of the former generations?" ما بال القرون الأولى
[Taha 20:51]
Tell me about them. Musa said to him:
The knowledge of it is with علمها عند
Whose is the knowledge of it?
with my Lord in a record. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." عند ربي في كتاب لا يضل ربي ولا ينسى
[Taha 20:52]
This is one point: You must know that Allah the Exalted is All-Knowing of everything, knowing even your actions. Even your actions, Allah is aware of them.
