Is it permissible for a man to say, "This wealth was given to me by the grace of Allah, then by my expertise"?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Shaykh.

The Shaykh : Yes.

The questioner : Shaykh, may Allah bless you, is it permissible for a man to say, regarding the blessings he has, such as a large amount of wealth, that he was given it by the grace of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, and then, for example, by his expertise? Or should these matters be attributed to Allah?

The Shaykh : No, there is no harm in saying it this way, on the condition that his statement "by my expertise" does not outweigh his statement "by the grace of Allah." This is because some people may mention the grace of Allah verbally, but in their hearts, what is it? They believe that expertise is more effective in obtaining this thing. So, if he fears for himself in that regard, he should not say it. And if he wants to say "by my expertise" in order to encourage people to take the necessary means, then that is better.
