Is there evidence in the saying of Allah the Exalted: “And you pass by them in the night” regarding the permissibility of going to the places of the punished?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The student: ...

The Shaykh : The scholars say there is no difference; anything you go to in order to see their traces and their power and be amazed by that power is not permissible. Yes, the narration:
(137) And indeed, you pass by them in the morning (138) And at night. Then will you not use reason? وإنكم لتمرون عليهم مصبحين وبالليل
[As-Saffat 37:137-138]
is a report of something that actually happened, just as the Messenger of Allah said:
You will follow the ways of those nations who were before you لتتبعن سنن من كان قبلكم
Sahih al-Bukhari 7320
Does that mean the Messenger of Allah is opening the door for us? This is a report of a matter that happened or will happen, and just as he informed that a woman would travel from Sana'a to Hadramawt fearing nothing but Allah.
