How to respond to the deniers of the divine attributes regarding His saying: “There is nothing like Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.”

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
... The Shaykh : He says: Is there a refutation of the deniers of the divine attributes in this? Yes, that is correct, because the deniers liken Him to non-existence. But as long as we have:
and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. وهو السميع البصير
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
which is clear, why do we go and bring a distant meaning? “There is nothing like Him” is a clear refutation of those who liken Him to creation, and it does not require effort to understand.
and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. وهو السميع البصير
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
is also a clear refutation of the deniers of the divine attributes... Yes, the refutation of them is easy. We say: Did Allah affirm a Hand for Himself or not? They will say: Yes. Why do you not affirm it? He says: I fear it may be similar to the hand of a human. We say: Do not fear this. How can you fear this when Allah says:
There is nothing like unto Him ليس كمثله شيء
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
. Then we say to him: Do you not affirm a hand for your sheep? He says: Yes. Is the hand of your sheep like your hand? That is enough. If similarity is negated between created beings in what they share in name, then the negation of similarity regarding the Creator is all the more so. In fact, the negation of similarity regarding Allah is obligatory, whereas regarding the created being it is not obligatory. Now, the cat, do you know what a cat is? We have now two [scholars], one says: al-bas, and the correct is al-bas with a fathah. If you say al-bas, you are making a grammatical error. And the brother said: al-har, and a third says: al-qitt, and al-sinwar. How many names the cat and the lion have! And Glorified is Allah, the hands of the cat and the hands of the lion are exactly similar.
