Exhuming a grave for a public benefit

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: From 'Abd al-'Aziz ibn 'Abd Allah ibn Baz to the honorable judge of the Adimat 'Alian court, may Allah the Exalted keep him safe. Amen.
Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. And after:
We received your letter, accompanied by the inquiry of H. M. 'A. You mentioned that there is a grave in front of his house, and that this grave is very old. It is reported that it has been subjected to damage from cars and animals due to its proximity to the house's exit. Is it permissible to move it to the adjacent cemetery? That is the end of it. You have requested a ruling on this matter.

A: If that is the case, the grave should be exhumed, its contents removed, and placed in a grave in the public cemetery. Peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings.
