The menstruating woman who becomes pure during the day must abstain from food and drink

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the ruling if a menstruating woman becomes pure during the day in Ramadan?

Answer: She must abstain from food and drink, according to the more correct of the two opinions of the scholars, because the legal excuse has ceased. She must also make up that day, just as if the sighting of the new moon for Ramadan were confirmed during the day; in that case, the Muslims abstain for the rest of the day and make up that day, according to the majority of the scholars of knowledge. The same applies to a traveler who arrives in his home country during the day in Ramadan; he must abstain from food and drink, according to the more correct of the two opinions of the scholars, because the ruling of travel has ceased, and he must make up that day. And success is from Allah.
