The ruling on one who performs Hajj and leaves his wife alone

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: Is it permissible for a man to go for Hajj or 'Umrah without taking his wife with him? May Allah reward you with good.

Answer: It is permissible for him to leave her in the house and go for Hajj or 'Umrah, or for prayer, or for jihad, or for his personal business needs in trade; there is nothing wrong with any of that.
If the wife feels lonely, he must arrange for a servant to be with her to keep her company, or allow her to go to her family's home because of the loneliness she experiences, or if there is danger to her, he should combine the two benefits, and it is not required that she go with him every time he travels.
