A mother who cursed her children, asking Allah to place them in the lowest level of the Fire, and they sought her forgiveness after a period of time, and she forgave them; will they truly be in the Fire?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A mother who cursed her children, asking Allah to place them in the lowest level of the Fire, and they sought her forgiveness after a period of time, and she forgave them; will they truly be in the Fire, and what is obligatory for her to do?

The Shaykh : I say that it is not permissible for a woman, nor for anyone other than a woman, to curse a Muslim, asking that he be placed in the lowest level of the Fire, because this is a great curse. Then, the one who curses does not know; perhaps he is being unjust to the one he is cursing, in which case the curse returns upon him.
Second: I reassure these children, both sons and daughters, of this woman. I reassure them that her curse will not be answered if it was without right, because if it was without right, it was injustice. And Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) does not assist the wrongdoer in his wrongdoing. Rather, Allah (Mighty and Majestic) has informed us that the wrongdoers will not succeed and will not attain their objective. So let them be glad that if their mother cursed them with this curse or any other without right, that it will never affect them. So let them be reassured.
As for the forgiveness of their mother for them after that, this drops her right if they had not been dutiful to her and she forgave them for that, then their sin is removed because their mother forgave them.
