The Meaning of the Poet's Statement: "And similar to this is the one who says his speech *** is an old meaning not subject to change"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And similar to this is the one who says his speech *** is an old meaning not subject to change
and the verse is created and those are its letters"

Look, Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) compared the statement of the Christians regarding 'Isa ibn Maryam that he is the Word, and the Word is an attribute, so he is a deity in this sense. They say the body is created, but it is an attribute of Allah (Mighty and Majestic). They say the wording is created, the letters are created, and the meaning is what? An attribute. The meaning is an attribute. So Ibn al-Qayyim says: This is similar, similar to this.
"And similar to this is the one who says his speech *** is an old meaning not subject to change
and the verse is created and those are its letters"

Who are these? The Asha'irah. The meaning is an attribute, and the verse is created, which is the letters. The *nasut* means that the letters, according to the Asha'irah in speech, are like the *nasut* of the Christians in the deity.
"But they are two different things" because the wording is not the meaning, and 'Isa is not Allah, but they united.
"So look at the one with the agreement, for it is *** amazing" Yes, it is an amazing agreement that they use the statement of a Christian as evidence for speech, and then when you apply this and that, you find that they are similar, if not identical. The statement of the Christians regarding the Messiah is that his body is created and his meaning, his essence, is not created because he is the Word of Allah. These people say the wording is created and the meaning is not created, it is an attribute. He says: "For it is *** amazing and it follows the way of the Most Merciful" Allahu Akbar. Everyone who strays from the truth has a resemblance to the non-Muslim. This is a general rule: everyone who strays from the truth has a resemblance to the non-Muslims. Because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The Jews split into seventy-one sects and the Christians into seventy-two sects. This Ummah will split into seventy-three sects إن اليهود افترقوا على إحدى وسبعين فرقة والنصارى على ثنتين وسبعين فرقة هذه الأمة ستفترق على ثلاثٍ فرقة
So there is nothing among these people that will not occur in this Ummah. They follow the ways of those who came before them. So everyone who opposes what the Messenger and his Companions are upon will take a share of agreement with whom? The Jews and the Christians. Envy, lying, and deception are all present. This is in the Jews and the Christians.
The issue of speech resembles, in some aspects, if not identical, the issue of 'Isa ibn Maryam in the belief of the Christians. They say the body of 'Isa is created and recent, there is no dispute in that, but he is the Word of Allah. The meaning of this body is a deity, an attribute of His attributes. So they united after being separate and distinct. They united and became one thing. And for this reason, with them, the deity is composed of three. Yes.
