What is the ruling on placing a garment wet with water on the head?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question: What is the ruling on placing a garment wet with water on the head at 'Arafah due to the intense heat?

Answer: You owe an expiation for this, which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) clarified in the hadith of Ka'b ibn 'Ujrah (may Allah be pleased with him) . It is fasting for three days, or feeding six poor people, giving each poor person half a sa' (a dry measure of about 3 kg) of dates, or other staple foods such as barley, rice, or corn, the amount being approximately one and a half kilograms, or slaughtering a sheep that is acceptable for the 'Id sacrifice, to be distributed among the poor in the sacred precinct; because you did not remove the garment from your head when your son placed it there.
