Q: There are people who, after the taslim at the end of the prayer, place their hand on their head and say: It is a sunnah.
A: Placing the hand on the head after the taslim from the prayer is not from the sunnah; rather, doing so is one of the newly invented innovations. It is established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sahih Muslim 1718a . And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
