Answer: It is permissible if he sees benefit in doing so and the son is able to return it to his father, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Bulugh al-Maram 7:188 It was narrated by Imam Ahmad, Abu Dawud, al-Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah, and al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibban, and al-Hakim graded it as authentic.
