The Ruling and Place of the Sunnah of Arrival from Travel

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
If they are a group, is it permissible for them to pray in congregation?

Answer:
I am not aware of anything preventing it. If each person prays two rak'ahs, there is no harm. If they pray it in congregation, there is no harm. I mean, a congregation due to a temporary circumstance; I am not aware of any blame in that.
Q: What if the arrival is after 'Asr, for example?
The Shaykh: The most cautious course is to avoid the prohibited times. One should aim for the Duha time, or Dhuhr, or the night. This is the most cautious approach, because the matter is in his hands.
Q: May Allah reward you. If the mosque is closed and he prays at home, does he catch the Sunnah?
The Shaykh: Allah knows best.
Q: Did he pray in his prayer niche?
The Shaykh: No, the mosque. The Sunnah is in the mosque.
Q: Does this indicate the permissibility of making up missed prayers in the mosque?
The Shaykh: There is no harm in it.
