What is the ruling on trading in real estate and the virtue of intention in it?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Buying real estate, trading in real estate and lands?

Answer:
These are avenues of trade, and they have a different status. If he has a good intention in buying and selling to benefit the servants of Allah and to make himself self-sufficient, he is rewarded. But if he has no intention in it, and it is only for this world, then he has no reward and no blame; he has neither reward nor blame.
And in the authentic hadith, he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
The one who strives for the widow and the poor person is like the one who fights in the path of Allah, or he said: like the one who fasts and does not break his fast, and the one who stands in prayer and does not rest.الساعي على الأرملة والمسكين كالمجاهد في سبيل الله، أو قال: كالصائم لا يُفطر، والقائم لا يفتر
, and in another hadith:
The Muslim merchant who is truthful and trustworthy will be gathered with the prophets and the truthful ones.التاجر المسلم الصدوق الأمين يُحشر مع النَّبيين والصّديقين
, narrated by Abu Dawud with a good chain and others.
The point is that it is according to the intention, and uprightness in the work, and seeking the truth, and seeking to avoid what Allah has forbidden, such as deception, betrayal, riba (usury or interest), and the like. He is rewarded according to his seeking and his intention in his trade and other matters.
