Why did 'Umar review the verse of al-Kalalah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
'Umar's review, O Shaykh (regarding the verse of al-Kalalah)?

Answer:
It was difficult for him; a great man may have some things hidden from him.
And in this there is a benefit: that a person should not be shy if some things are hidden from him, nor should he be shy to ask, nor say, "I am big and I am shy." No — he should ask. 'Umar asked about this issue, repeating and insisting on it despite its clarity, because his heart did not open to its meaning; the matter did not become clear to him until he repeated it. So a person may be great, big, and a scholar, yet some issues may be hidden from him.
Q: Did the Prophet rebuke him in anger?
The Shaykh: It does not appear so, no, it was a matter of joking.
