Does the statement of Allah the Exalted: (And it is He who begins creation and then repeats it, and that is easier for Him) mean that it is easy for Him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Does the statement of Allah the Exalted:
And it is He who begins creation; then He repeats it, and that is [even] easier for Him وهو الذي يبدأ الخلق ثم يعيده وهو أهون عليه
[Ar-Rum 30:27]
mean that it is easy for Him?

The Shaykh : This is a great error, meaning this is a distortion of the meaning. "Easier" does not mean "easy," but rather it is easier in terms of intellect. Which is more difficult: the beginning of a thing or the repetition of a thing?
Its beginning, without doubt, is easy for Him, there is no doubt, it is easy for Him
His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it, "Be," and it is. إنما أمره إذا أراد شيئا أن يقول له كن فيكون
[Ya-Sin 36:82]
, but this is easier in terms of intellect.
This is analogous to the statement of some:
Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided. إن ربك هو أعلم بمن ضل عن سبيله وهو أعلم بالمهتدين
[An-Nahl 16:125]
, they said: "Al-A'lam" means "Al-'Alim" (The All-Knowing). This is a great error, and a deficiency in describing Allah with the attribute of being the Most Knowing. That is, if we suppose that someone is knowledgeable, then Allah is more knowledgeable. So interpreting "Al-A'lam" as "Al-'Alim" is an error, and it is a distortion of the words from their places, and it is a tendency from the path of the theologians (mutakallimun).
