The reciter: Yahya ibn Yahya and Muhammad ibn Rumh narrated to us, saying: Al-Layth informed us. And Qutaybah ibn Sa'id narrated to us, from Al-Layth, from Nafi', from Abdullah,
That a woman was found killed in one of the military expeditions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) disapproved of the killing of women and children. أن امرأة وجدت في بعض مغازي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مقتولة، فأنكر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قتل النساء والصبيان
