The reciter: Muhammad ibn Rafi' narrated to us, Abd al-Razzaq narrated to us, Ma'mar narrated to us from Hammam ibn Munabbih, who said: This is what Abu Hurayrah narrated to us from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He mentioned several hadiths, among which was that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Great is the wrath of Allah upon a people who have done this to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and he was at that time pointing to his front teeth. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) also said: Great is the wrath of Allah upon a person who has been killed by the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) in the way of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious.
اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللهِ عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَعَلُوا هَذَا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ . وَهُوَ حِينَئِذٍ يُشِيرُ إِلَى رَبَاعِيَتِهِ . وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : اشْتَدَّ غَضَبُ اللهِ عَلَى رَجُلٍ يَقْتُلُهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ .
