The reciter: And Abu Bakr ibn Abi Shaybah narrated to us, Shababah narrated to us, Shu'bah narrated to us from Simak, with this chain of narration, similar to it, and he said: Then al-Ash'ath ibn Qays pulled him, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Listen and obey, for only they are responsible for their burdens, and only you are responsible for your burdens. اسْمَعُوا وَأَطِيعُوا، فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِمْ مَا حُمِّلُوا وَعَلَيْكُمْ مَا حُمِّلْتُمْ
