Shu'bah narrated to us from Ziyad ibn 'Ilaqah, who said: I heard 'Urfajah say: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Sahih Muslim 1852a.
The Shaykh : This indicates the obligation to assist the ruler against the rebels who rise up against the Imam. It is obligatory for the subjects to assist the Imam in fighting them. The Khawarij are even more deserving of this obligation; it is obligatory for the subjects to assist the Imam in fighting them, because they seek to corrupt the Ummah. Even if they say, "We seek reform," they are in reality corrupters.
Different evils will make their appearance in the near future. Anyone who tries to disrupt the affairs of this Umma while they are united you should strike him with the sword whoever he be.
