Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : What is the nisab of silver in Saudi Riyals?
The Shaykh : The Saudi Riyal, they say, is fifty-six Riyals of silver; what is it in these paper notes?
The questioner : In paper notes?
The Shaykh : In paper notes, it varies. As long as we consider silver and make it the standard, the silver may increase, like in the present time. Now, silver is worth more than the value of the Riyal; the silver Riyal is worth more than the paper. For example, if we estimate that the value of one silver Riyal is ten paper notes, how much does it become? Five hundred and sixty. Yes, that is correct.
