Continuing the discussion on the hadith (Every good deed is charity, and explaining the virtue of roasted meat over cooked meat, and that calf meat is among the best foods . . . ) .

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He hurried to his family and brought a fat calf. "Ragh" (hurried): The scholars said: It means he turned back quickly and stealthily. Look how good his hospitality was; he hurried so as not to delay them, and stealthily so they would not stop him, so they would not say: "Wait, we do not want anything."
Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:26]
And in the other verse:
With a roasted calf
"Haniadh" means: roasted. And it is known that roasted meat is more flavorful than cooked meat, because its flavor remains in it.
So he brought a calf
And the calf: The scholars said: It is among the best types of meat foods, because its meat is tender and flavorful. So he brought a roasted calf. Where did he put it? He brought it close to them. He did not put it in a distant place and say, "Go have your lunch or dinner." He brought it close to them. Then what did he say? He did not say "Eat." He said:
Will you not eat?
"A-la" is a particle of offering, meaning he offered them what he commanded them. He said:
Will you not eat?
But the angels did not eat. Why? Because the angels do not eat. The angels do not have stomachs, they do not have bellies, intestines, or livers. Allah created them from light, a single body, a single form, a single body. They do not have intestines, livers, bellies, or anything. They do not eat.
They exalt [Him] night and day [and] do not slacken.
[Al-Anbya 21:20]
Forever. Subhan Allah, Subhan Allah, forever and ever. They did not eat
And he felt from them apprehension
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:28]
Because they did not eat. They say: Because it is the custom of the Arabs that if a guest does not eat, he has harbored evil. If a guest does not eat, he has harbored evil. For this reason, to this day, it is a custom among us: if a guest comes and does not eat, they say: "Malah," meaning: "Taste our food." If he does not taste it, they say this man has intended evil for us. He disliked them and feared them
They said, "Fear not. قَالُوا لا تَخَفْ
[Hud 11:70]
Then they explained the matter to him:
They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:28]
And he had grown old, and his wife had grown old
So his wife came forward
When she heard the good news
In a cry
In a cry
So she struck her face
In astonishment
and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:29]
Meaning: "Shall I give birth while I am an old, barren woman?" The angels said:
Thus your Lord said to you
The Lord, Mighty and Majestic, does what He wills. If He wills a thing, He says to it "Be," and it is.
indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing." إنه هو الحكيم العليم
[Adh-Dhariyat 51:30]
Here, "Al-Hakim" (The Wise) was mentioned before "Al-'Alim" (The All-Knowing), and in many verses, "Al-'Alim" is mentioned before "Al-Hakim." The reason is that this matter, that she gives birth while she is old, is outside the norm; it has no parallel except rarely. So they began with "Al-Hakim," which indicates wisdom, meaning: Allah is Wise that you give birth while you are old. The important point is that Ibrahim (peace and blessings be upon him) set the example in good hospitality. Is good hospitality a good deed? Yes, it is a good deed. So, every good deed, every good deed is charity. Do good and kindness among people, and know that this is charity for which you will be rewarded with the reward of charity. And Allah grants success.
The reader: The author (may Allah have mercy on him) quoted: "From Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
Jabir (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Never does a Muslim plants a tree except that he has the reward of charity for him, for what is eaten out of that is charity; what is stolen out of that, what the beasts eat out of that, what the birds eat out of that is charity for him. (In short) none incurs a loss to him but it becomes a charity on his part.
Sahih Muslim 1552a
Narrated by Muslim.
And in a narration from him:
No Muslim who plants (trees) and from their fruits the human beings or the beasts or birds eat, but that would be taken as an act of charity on the Day of Resurrection.
Sahih Muslim 1552d

And in a narration from him:
No Muslim plants a plant or sows a crop from which a human, a beast, or anything else eats except that it is charity for him
Sahih Ibn Hibban 13:160
