Is enjoining good and forbidding evil part of calling people to Allah?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Does this (enjoining good and forbidding evil) fall under the types of calling people to Allah?

Answer:
There is no doubt that enjoining good and forbidding evil is part of calling people to Allah, as indicated by the conjunction in His saying (Exalted and Majestic is He):
And let there be [arising] from you a nation inviting to [all that is] good, enjoining what is rightوَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ..
[Al-Imran: 104]. This is an instance of attaching the specific to the general. Therefore, the one who calls to Allah, or enjoins good, or forbids evil, and then contradicts what he calls to, falls under this warning—may Allah grant us safety.
