The ruling on the sutrah for the one praying and the ruling on one whose prayer is interrupted

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the sutrah obligatory?

Answer:
It is a confirmed sunnah for the individual and the imam, may Allah have mercy on him.
Q: The three who interrupt the prayer when they pass in front of the person; does he start over from the beginning?
The Shaykh: Yes, if they are close to him or between him and the sutrah, and he is the imam or praying alone. As for the ma'mum (one praying behind the imam), it does not harm them; if they pass in front of the ma'mum, it does not harm them.
Q: Is it established that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed without a sutrah?
The Shaykh: Yes.
Q: In such a situation, does a person sometimes pray without a sutrah?
The Shaykh: Yes; because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) sometimes prayed without a sutrah.
Q: Is it possible for a person to pray without a sutrah as well?
The Shaykh: If the sutrah is not available, but the sutrah is better.
