The Ruling on Seeking Intercession from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
The saying of the poet:
And I hope, through my love for my Messenger, for his intercession
When dreams wander in a harsh stance
Perhaps, through the nearness of love, he will remind me of it
And his noble comfort refuses to be rejected

Answer:
This is seeking intercession from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), which is not permissible.
If he had said: "I hope from Allah, through my love for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)," meaning he hopes from Allah, through his love for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), for His intercession, that would be different; he is not hoping for intercession from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Q: Is this a supplication, a supplication to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him)?
The Shaykh: It is hoping for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). And after that?
The student:
So greet the buried graves with a greeting
And place a kiss, O friend, from you upon the grave
Upon the best of those who touched the earth with his fragrance
The most honored of the dead in the world, wrapped in a shroud
The Shaykh: He is being alerted to this; he will write a response... or he was alerted to this and will write his apology; he was alerted to this and will write to clarify; because this was written by a young man.
