What is the ruling on the gift given in intercession?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
In the hadith, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) felt some displeasure toward Safiyyah. Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said to Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her): "Would you like me to please the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding me, and I will give you my day?" The hadith is long, but a question arises regarding it: Is a gift accepted in intercession?

Answer:
No, unless the husband permits it. If the husband permits it, there is no harm.
Q: Did Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) accept the day of Safiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her)?
The Shaykh: It was the day of Sawdah. When Sawdah wanted to be divorced, she said: "O Messenger of Allah, keep me in your bond, and give my day to Aisha." So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted. If the Prophet accepts from a wife, there is no harm.
Q: What is considered as accepting a gift in intercession?
The Shaykh: There is nothing in that; because this is a relinquishment of a right.
