A woman divorced with a revocable divorce inherits from her husband if she is in the waiting period

Question: Does a divorced woman inherit from the wealth of her husband, who died before her waiting period ended?

Answer: If the divorce is revocable and her husband dies before she exits the waiting period, she inherits from him her obligatory share prescribed by the Shari'ah. However, if she has exited the waiting period, she has no inheritance. The same applies if the divorce is final with no right of return, such as a woman divorced in exchange for money, or a woman divorced for the third time, or similar cases of final divorce; they have no inheritance from their ex-husbands because they are not his wives at the time of his death.
However, an exception is made for a woman whose husband divorced her while he was ill and suspected of doing so with the intention of depriving her of inheritance. In that case, she inherits from him during the waiting period and after it, as long as she does not remarry, even if the divorce was final, according to the more correct of the two opinions of the scholars, by dealing with him in the opposite of his intention.
